Khan’s Palace, home to the Crimean Tatars is a magnificent 50,000 sq.m complex containing glorious mosques, sorrowful tombs, and of course ‘the fountain of tears’ that inspired Alexander Pushkin. This 15th-Century structure consists of buildings and courtyards, has an intricate blend of the Ottoman Empire & Islamic heritage built by fine Italian masters and Persian artisans, it is the epicenter of the Crimean Khanate.
