Located halfway between Jerusalem and Jericho, The Good Samaritan Museum opened to the public as an archaeological park in 2009. It is the only mosaic museum in Israel and displays a rare and unique collection of Jewish, Catholic, and Samaritan mosaic floors. Currently, the revered place is one of the most visited sites in Holy Land tours and its history can be dated back to the Byzantine era.
