Reality in the small town of Shahjahanpur in north India is much stranger than fiction. Every year, on the day of Holi, the festival of color, one man - ‘Laatsahab’ - is put atop a bullock cart and paraded around town to be abused, beaten and splashed with colored water. He is garlanded with shoes, and followed around the city by a frenzied mob that celebrates this assault. Explore this bizarre tradition, and the conflict between those who perpetuate it and those who seek an end to this mindless violence.
